How to update Samsung Galaxy Core I8262 to  Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official XXAMF3 Firmware

Step 1: Download the XXAMF3 Firmware Update File and Odin 3.07 Zip File to Your Computer from the Download Links Given Above

Step 2: Extract The Firmware Update File, You’ll Obtain a File with ‘Tar.md5’ extension and other optional files. If there is only the “tar.md5” file don’t panic, the other optional files are not so necessary for the update [modem, kernel,…etc. ]  ||
Also Extract All Files from Odin 3.07.zip to Your Desktop [Or Anywhere Accessible]

Step 3: Turn Off Your Android Device Wait For Few Seconds Until The Device Vibrates To Confirm Complete Shutdown Next Put The Device on Download Mode By Pressing And Holding  Home Button + Volume Down + Power button together until you see a construction Android robot on your screen. Press Volume Up button for confirming to enter download mode
Step 4: Now Run Odin 3.07.exe on Your Computer with Admin Privileges [For XP and Older, Just Run the Program]

Step 5: Now Connect Your Device to Your PC via USB cable. After Doing So You’ll get a notification message [in ODIN Program] saying “Added!!” , However If You Don’t Get This Message You Can Either Try Different USB Port Or you may reinstall drivers for the device, Once you get the “Added!!” message in the Message box in the lower left corner you may Proceed to the next Step
Also note that the “COM: XX” box will turn blue, [XX, COM Port No.]

Step 6: Select The Following Files In The Odin Interface From The Firmware Files You Obtained After Extraction:

#1) Click on PDA button, and select the file with .tar.md5 Extension
#2) Click the Phone Button, and select file with *modem* in its name [Ignore This Step If There Is No Such File]
#3) Click the CSC Button, and select file with *csc* as its name [Ignore If Missing]
#4) Click the PIT Button, and select the file with .pit extension. [Ignore If Missing]

Step 7: Now In Odin Interface Make Sure Auto Reboot And F. Reset Time checkboxes are Checked And Also make sure the “Repartition” Checkbox Is Ticked only If You Had Selected The .Pit file in the previous step [Step 6 #4]

Step 8: Double Check Everything You Did In The Last Two Steps For Safety, And Once You’re Completely Satisfied Click The Start Button in Odin Interface and sit back and watch the show =)

Step 9: After a while, your device will automatically reboot Into the New and Improved Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
Confirm This by Navigating To Settings>>About Phone

If Your Device Is Stuck On Boot Screen, Boot Into Recovery Mode  By pressing  and holding the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together And  Wipe data/Factory Reset as well as Wipe Cache Partition, Next select on reboot now [Use The Volume Rocker to Browse Browse Through Options and Press Power button to select ]
